In Days of Wine and Roses, Jack Lemmon gave his (probably) greatest performance ever, so it’s more about him than Remick, who’s absolutely great too. To me. You may prefer Matthau & Lemmon. I watched the movie of THE ODD COUPLE recently starring Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon. A new version of another Jack Webb series, The New Adam-12, also debuted that season to little success. Sorry to hear of the passing of Jack Klugman. Late night weekdays they showed classic comedies like Dobie Gillis, The Burns and Allen Show, and The Jack Benny Show. If Bonanza was one of the biggest hits of the Sixties, it may well have been because it was simply a very well done show.
